framed flower earrings

They measure 2 1/2 inches long (including the earring hooks) and 1 1/4 inches wide.
 
I start these beauties by sawing the pendants out of 22G brass sheet metal. Once the flower and frame shapes are cut out, I drill the holes, file the edges and sand the surface until they are super smooth and shiny. Next up, I use hand made jump rings to hang the flowers inside their frames. Lastly they go for a ride in my tumbler, once out I coat them with a clear finish to delay tarnishing. All that's left to do now is add the 20G earring hooks that I pre-make out of brass or 14K gold filled wire (I'll let you decide) and ta-da another pair of BANGIN babes is born!
