tiny bone jar earrings

Hey boo! This listing is for one pair of tiny bone jar earrings, featuring some of my smallest armadillo scutes.

I start these beauties by filling the jars with bones and wrapping the neck of the jar with brass wire to hang it from. Next I hand form each layer and the top hanger piece that they will hang from out of 16G brass wire. Once I have all of the brass layers formed I can go ahead and hang them all from the top hanger piece. All that's left to do now is add the 20G earring hooks that I pre-make out of brass or 14K gold filled wire (I'll let you decide) and ta-da another pair of BANGIN babes is born! 
 
They measure 2 1/2 inches long (including the earring hooks) and 1 1/2 inches wide.

I love all animals and my jewelry is a symbol of my appreciation for them and the lives they once lived. Most of the bones I use are hand collected by me or my loved ones from animals that are already dead. We find them in the woods, on railroad tracks, at the beach, and many other pockets of nature. The alligator scutes I use are one exception to this, I get them from a friend who found a bucket of them at a taxidermy shop that was going out of business.
